STAA SUMMER EVENT 17TH AUGUST 2024
In Person event in Perth
9:30-4:30
What does it mean to be inclusive in ta practice and settings?
Claire Black will be delivering a full day workshop.
What does it mean to be inclusive in psychotherapy, counselling, educational or organisational settings?
Should inclusion be regarded as an essential part of these professional practices? And how do we navigate our own process when meeting the task of creating and sustaining inclusive environments?
In this session we will unpack the concept of inclusion in order to explore how awareness of inclusivity can augment our work and as a guiding principle can enrich and deepen our interactions with clients, students and colleagues.
As we explore we will address and discuss how we can hold ourselves in moments of discomfort, transforming resistance into growth, both personal and professional.
Join us as we unpack these dynamics and discover how developing our awareness and practice of inclusivity can enrich not only our work but also our way of being in the world.
